Thyme Outside produce and manage all of our catering orders from a 3500 square foot commercial kitchen facility in Greater Manchester.

Part of our kitchen space is available for fellow food producers to hire on a regular, monthly or casual day-rate basis. With a full range of prep and cooking facilities available, as well as cold storage space, our option of kitchen hire is ideal if you are struggling for space in your current facilities. We hire our commercial kitchen space to:

  • Farmers market stallholders
  • Food producers
  • Restaurants that lack sufficient prep space
  • Development chefs
  • Cookery courses / schools
  • Television production companies

With weekly, monthly agreements and casual hourly/day hire rates available, our kitchen facilities encompass the following:

3500 square foot commercial kitchen space. 10 meter cooking line, 10 rack Hobart combi oven, 6 rack Hobart combi oven, dishwash facilities, Falcon 80 litre bratt pan, 2 x 6 burner ovens, salamander grill, griddle, chargrill, hot cupboard, large walk in fridge, freezer, 20 litre fryer, use of knives, pans, mixing bowls, chopping boards, utensils, Kenwood mixer, thermo mix, vaccum chamber packing machine, sous vide circulator, large capacity stick blender,  planetary mixer, over 30 meters prep space, raw meat prep table, food wash sinks, Karcher floor cleaner. Wifi, desk, chair, printer. General and cardboard for waste. Electric point for standby fridge van.

Commercial Kitchen Hire - How it works

Visit the kitchen for a guided tour. Set up an account. Book in for a half hour induction on all equipment then you are ready to go.

Deliveries accepted before your arrival.

You will be designated a cold prep space for you and your team maximum 4 people per team.

You are responsible for your own team and thorough clean down of areas and equipment used.

All business/individuals that hire kitchen space are required to have theor own insurance.

Casual Rates

£175 plus vat per 8 hour day 

£20.00 per hour over 8 hours 

Weekly Rates 8am - 4pm All prices will have vat added at 20%

£395 per 5 day week

£450 per 7 day week

Monthly Resident Day Rates 8am - 4pm All prices will have vat added at 20%

1 day per week £400 per month (£92.00 per session)

2 days per week £700 per month (£80.00 per session)

3 days per week £900 per month (£69.00 per session)

4 days per week £1150 per month (£60.00 per session)

5 days per week £1200 per month (£55.00 per session)

6 days per week £1365 per month (£52.50 per session)

7 days per week £1515 per month (£50.00 per session)

 

Resident Evening Rates 5pm - 12 midnight All prices will have vat added at 20%

1 day per week £400 per month (£92.00 per session)

2 days per week £700 per month (£80.00 per session)

Weekly and Monthly Kitchen Hire Rate Conditions:

Deposit of £500.00 

Payment upfront for the month ahead.

Cancellation period of 2 months.

Access to prep space, cooking line, walk in fridge, walk in freezer, dry store, light equipment storage.

Casual Rates-

Deposit £250.00.

Cold prep space no cooking facility £20.00 plus VAT per hour.

Cold prep space with access to cooking facilities £30.00 plus VAT per hour.

Day rate (8 hours with access to cooking facilities and fridge/freezer space) £175 plus VAT.
