Thyme Outside is the sister company of Thyme Out Food Co – a well-established casual eatery based in West Didsbury. Launched in 2006 by chef Ben Hayes, Thyme Out has always offered a catering service alongside its ever popular brunch and casual dining dishes. With a background in preparing catering and traiteur style food, Ben and Thyme Out’s style of home-produced catering presented with flair quickly took off.  Providing corporate catering for clients such as Siemens and Cisco from day one, soon followed by private event catering and wedding catering, it soon made sense to launch a dedicated outside catering arm to the business – and so Thyme Outside was born.

After servicing catering orders from the kitchens at Thyme Out in Didsbury for 10 years, and sometimes having to turn away business due to lack of space and preparation facilities, the time came to expand the catering operation into new premises. Now preparing and overseeing all Thyme Outside orders from a dedicated catering kitchen in Heaton Mersey, things have gone from strength to strength. With greater capacity, state of the art facilities, office space and a tasting room, we believe that Thyme Outside is now better placed to serve both existing and new clients.
